318 of 484 promoter names carry exactly one registration
This mirror of the UP-RERA register was read on 10 October 2026. On that read it held 974 project registrations, filed under 484 distinct promoter names. Of those 484 names, 318 carry exactly one registration: 318 of 484, which is 65.7 per cent of the names on the list. Eight names carry ten or more. The register publishes the counts; the percentage is arithmetic done on them here.
Those are names as they are spelled on each filing, counted by the register and by nothing else. The count is of names as each filing spells them, and of nothing else. The record itself is the UP-RERA portal at up-rera.in, and any name read here should be confirmed there before you act on it.
A single registration is not a mark against anyone
This is worth saying plainly, because the number invites the wrong reading. A count of registrations under a name is a count of filings on this mirror and nothing more. The register does not record why a name appears once rather than several times, and the count says nothing about the people who filed it. This mirror also covers one district, so a name that appears once here may carry filings the mirror does not hold.
Among what a registration records are the applicant type, the project it was filed for, and the documents filed with it. Nothing in a registration count ranks a promoter, and nothing in it says how any project will be built or when it will finish.
How the rest of the names are spread
After the 318 names with exactly one registration, the per-promoter counts on the register thin out at every step. 71 names carry exactly two registrations. 60 carry three or four. 27 carry five to nine. Eight carry ten or more.
The promoter list on this mirror shows those counts name by name, with the registrations filed under each one. Use it to see what else a name on a filing has registered in Gautam Buddha Nagar, and read each registration on its own terms rather than treating the count as a score.
861 of the 974 registrations are filed by a company
The register records an applicant type for each registration. Of the 974 on this mirror, 861 are filed by a Company. 46 are filed by a Partnership Firm, 27 by a Competent authority, 18 by a Limited Liability Partnership, 7 by an Individual, 5 by Societies and 2 by a Proprietorship Firm. Eight registrations have no applicant type recorded.
Applicant type is a field on the filing. It records the legal form of the body that applied, and nothing beyond that: not the size of the project, not the standing of the applicant, and not the progress of the work. It is recorded registration by registration, so it is read on the registration rather than across a name.
Read the project's filings, not the promoter's count
Because a name may carry only one registration, the useful checks sit inside the registration itself. Each one carries its own document set, and that is where the detail sits. Each one carries quarterly progress reports as they are filed, and applications to change the declared completion date are filed against the registration as well. Our guides cover how to read a quarterly progress report and what a completion date extension means, both of which are lawful filings and neither of which is a verdict on a project.
The document set is the other place to look. What the 25 RERA documents mean walks through what a promoter files and what each paper is for. That set is filed per registration: 957 of the 974 projects on this mirror carry at least one document and 17 carry none.
How to check a name yourself
Start from the project, not the company. Search the project name in the project list on this mirror, open the registration, and read the promoter name as it is spelled on the filing. Then look that name up under promoters to see whether it carries anything else. How to check if a Noida project is RERA registered and how to verify a Noida project on UP-RERA in 10 minutes set out the same steps on the official portal.
This page is a mirror, read on 10 October 2026, and it holds 974 registrations, of which 973 carry Gautam Buddha Nagar as the district and one carries no district recorded. The split inside that district is covered in Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway, and what the register shows. The record is the UP-RERA portal at up-rera.in, how to use the UP-RERA portal shows where each field on a filing lives there, and anything you plan to rely on should be confirmed against the portal on the day you read it.
